Its single player tells a story in this 'what if' scenario in a very cinematic way, but that has something to do with it being written by John Milius.
But the story and the actual single player gameplay are completely different. Although the story is very good, the actual action sequences seemed to try too hard to mimic what was already accomplished in the Call of Duty Franchise.
Its multi player is definitely the pull factor to buy it. The multiple game play innovations featured in the game as well as many of the best innovations featured in both the Call of Duty and Battlefield franchises.
I wouldn't necessarily name this a "Clone" of those two franchises, but it definitely gets some inspiration from the two.
