Total crap, I mean really just total crap
Here you have to wait for stupid animations of the camera after just anything. They constantly take control from your hands and force you to watch those animations over and over. The whole interface seems to be optimized for touchscreens and not the mouse. E.g. your camera view will NOT scroll when you touch the world borders.
I kept accidentally clicking through the tutorial messages. The whole combat system is so primitive that you just can't call this a turn based strategy or a tactics game. The 1st mission you can see in the tutorial is linear as hell.
Honestly, my impression is that their dev team was lead by some 15 year old or they have no testing department at all, or something similar. One just can't release games like this and ask for money.

Arma 2 - 10 Hours+ Played
ARMA II is the best military simulator (of the FPS genre) on the market. It follows a similar formula to that of EA's Battlefield series, but has a stronger emphasis on realism which lends itself to slower and more intricate gameplay. ARMA II requires a strong processor and a good deal of patience to play.
Assassin's Creed Brotherhood - Completed
Assassin's Creed Brotherhood is a lovely game, that is familiar to it's predecessor, only better. Sure it gets kind boring within several days, but the new apprentice assassins were pretty cool. I liked having sidekicks on my own and let them do the dirty work while I silently kill my opponent.
You could say that they're the improvements of thieves and prostitutes of the previous game. Overall an engaging game I liked and I can actually recommend this AC title.

iBomber Defense Pacific - Completed
A great sequel and great improvements as well. Tower defense fans will definitely appreciate this title with its strategies, perks and challenging terrains. The look of the game - like the original - is very simple and effective.
It's a no-frills approach to tower defense but that may be it's charm: blandness keeps you focused on the enemies poring in trying to take over your bases. Maybe they could've added some neat little frills like debris or soldiers screaming but - maybe next game. As mentioned before, the new perk system is an excellent addition giving your turrets more options and abilities as well as the cash system.
The much appreciated and often life-saving "dig in" option is a must for the latter levels. iBomber PD is a great addition to the growing tower defense genre.

iBomber Defense - Completed
Nice little game. It's one of the more simplistic tower defense games I have played, and I'm pretty sure it's just ported from iOS. But if you are new to the genre and want to learn, or want some light fun on your netbook, it's well worth the cheap price tag.
A couple small gripes: there is no in-game music. The only music is on the title screen. Also, it has almost no graphics options and runs only at a 4:3 aspect ratio. The frame rate is capped at 30fps but it doesn't really matter for a slow 2D game like this. Overall, though, if you are looking for a cheap little tower defense game to keep you busy this should fit the bill.

The Guild 2 - Completed
A fairly solid economic strategy simulation where the player can utilize a number of varying tactics and maneuvers to gain an advantage in a well-designed medieval environment.
Unfortunately, the impressive level of detail and the interesting gameplay options at your disposal take a backseat to the technical issues and repetitive micromanagement.

I am Alive - Completed
To describe it with one word: this game is FRUSTRATING. The setting is nice, the storytelling and development is good, and graphics are OK. However, everything is spoiled by the crappy save system (or rather, the lack of it).
From playing other checkpoint based games, we are used to repeating some areas of a game over and over. But normally, these areas cover some minutes at most. Not here. It can be easily up to 30-45 minutes you have to replay after dying the third time in a row. This might be fine for the few masochist players around. For me, it's no fun at all, it's just VERY boring.
Worse thing is you cannot just quit the game when you want, because this will also force you to restart a LONG way back. To sum it up: if this game had five times the number of checkpoints it has now, it could be a nice game. In the current state, it's for hardcore players only.

Hydrophobia: Prophecy - Completed
This game is worth a try and I'm sure most of you won't be disappointed. If you don't waste your time trying to compare the water with other games you will be amazed about the possibilities. Overall the game is great. Good graphics, the plot makes sense, and the way the game combines exploration, puzzles and combats.
The water is amazing. It's physical effects, the way it may help you (or not) solving puzzles or fighting enemies... simply amazing.
The bloom effect is exaggerated. It's a cool effect depending on the situation, but it's too much in this game.
The camera when you have to swim through a flooded corridor is horrible. Specially if there are many objects floating around. It's very frustrating and annoying sometimes, but fortunately not enough to kill the fun.

How to Survive - Completed
Twin-stick shooter with RPG elements containing a very nice crafting system and 3 characters with partially different skill-trees. Besides fighting a decent variety of zombies, you hunt, eat, drink and sleep. Story offers a linear, yet somewhat addicting experience which, by choosing to explore everything, lasts for hours!
There's also Challenge mode and you can play both in Co-Op (online story comes in a month though). Overall graphics and sounds are solid. Except for the main NPC, voice acting and story are lower quality. If you play solo, you may struggle with inventory management a bit, as you're limited to 25 slots (add it to a survival aspect, I guess), thankfully game will save everything you drop. In Co-Op, that's not an issue and you also get to kill your friend.
A very worthy addition to anyone's Steam library.

Hotline Miami - Completed
Hotline Miami is a brutal top-down shooter where you're instructed to kill a whole bunch of people and you really don't know why. The game is incredibly unsettling, between the genocide, the creepy music, the graphics that look like a terrible VHS recording, the terrible sense of increasing loneliness and desperation, and the sense that maybe all of it isn't real, even by the game's standards.
The gameplay is tough. The action is frantic, since one shot kills you and enemies move quickly, yet requires a lot of planning as you decide how to take on heavily-guarded buildings. The harder battles are ridiculously difficult. The sound is creepy and very fitting. The graphics are simple 2D, but the aesthetic is also unsettling. The controls are tough to get used to, but ultimately work most of the time. The story's somewhat minimal, but the story that is there is very interesting.
I think this game is worth the price tag, and if this looks interesting to you, I don't think you'll be disappointed. If you enjoy it, there's a lot of replay-ability here too. Definitely get it if it's on sale. The soundtrack is very good, but it's not exactly feel-good music. Either way, consider picking up the soundtrack too.

Hitman: Blood Money - Completed
This game was incredible. It had everything to it with it's sneaky atmosphere, it's tense moments, and it's outrageous fun.
Moments when you would be caught dragging a body, those tense moments when that happened to me added more fun to the game completely. I entirely believe that this is the best Hitman game I have ever played, it's fantastic.
Nothing lacked in this game, everything was perfect and spot-on. No "ifs", "and's", or "or's" about it. The ending of the game was a bit of a twist, which once again, added more fun to the game. I seriously hope someday Hitman is recognized for how well they made these games and not for just "I'm a spy, I'm just going to go murder people and try to finish the game with a good rating", try to play the game on it's hardest level, and try to be completely sneaky. It gets a bit irritating, but I think you will manage through it.
Highly recommended for anyone interested in games where you need to be sneaky, or a spy-like game. It is completely amazing.

Homefront - Completed
Its single player tells a story in this 'what if' scenario in a very cinematic way, but that has something to do with it being written by John Milius.
But the story and the actual single player gameplay are completely different. Although the story is very good, the actual action sequences seemed to try too hard to mimic what was already accomplished in the Call of Duty Franchise.
Its multi player is definitely the pull factor to buy it. The multiple game play innovations featured in the game as well as many of the best innovations featured in both the Call of Duty and Battlefield franchises.
I wouldn't necessarily name this a "Clone" of those two franchises, but it definitely gets some inspiration from the two.

Half Life: Opposing Force
This game was almost as good as the original Half Life. There's a whole new side of the story to explore, and what happens to Black Mesa after Gordon Freeman leaves for Xen.
Also, the new protagonist and huge selection of weapons make Opposing Force feel more like an actual game than an expansion pack.

Home - Completed
Home is a difficult beast to review, in that it is not necessarily a game.
There is no ultimate objective, no invulnerable horror chasing you down, no health or numbers to gauge your success or failure. Instead, Home offers a plodding journey for answers in a dank world of numerous questions.
Who did what? Am I the evil or the oppressed? Is everything as straightforward as it seems or convoluted as I fear? If these questions intrigue you, and if the opportunity to shape their answers by your choices is an equally appealing concept, I wholeheartedly recommend this short but fascinating adventure.
Just don't expect your trip home to leave you entirely fulfilled; not all questions have answers

HOARD - Completed
Hoard is fun little game that lets you become the big scary dragon who burns towns, takes all the treasures and kidnaps princesses.
For me the experience of playing this game was very positive. The game is very easy to understand, controls are intuitive and convenient, so starting to play right away is no problem.
This game has some simple, but very stylish graphics. I mean, yeah, technologically it's nothing special, but the atmosphere and the way all the maps look like is just great. Hoard has pretty simple, yet entertaining game mechanics, so playing is fun.
AI is not that smart, so after an hour or so switching to the hard mode is recommended, or the better option is to go and try yourself in the multiplayer game mode. It is a lot more fun, and also pretty challenging compared to the single player modes.
Some bugs were present in the first version, but update was released recently and I can't find any of the bugs that were present. Overall, if you look at the Price/Enjoyment scale, you certainly receive much more than you pay for.

Hitman Absolution - Completed
After having played the first few levels. I was very disappointed. Almost everything I loved about the previous Hitman seems to have gone. The exploration of sandbox stages, finding interesting ways to perform a kill in a world full of possibilities. Here I have to infiltrate buildings and evade stuff through segmented and pretty linear levels. I hated it at first as a classic Hitman game this one deserves a bad rating
But that would be unfair to condemn Absolution, because as a game it is really good. The controls and gun fights have been improved considerably. Graphically it is stunning.

Hitman 2: Silent Assassin - Completed
This is a very solid game. I can only find two downsides. First, stealth is optional for a while. I just killed everyone in sight and beat the level with easy eventually though. I am not sure if that's bad or good. Secondly, the controls are somewhat awkward, making trying to run forward turn into switching items if your fingers are in the wrong position.
Overall, this is a great game, give it a shot, you might like it.

Hero of the Kingdom - Completed
This game presents a welcome return to classic fantasy in an innovative brilliantly simple combination between RPG, RTS and point and click adventure.
The game was very addictive while playing it, and its relative repetitiveness did not hinder that much. The one major flaw of the game is that it is very short and I completed it in a matter of hours.
Overall, it is a very enjoyable indie game, especially if you like calm and casual RPGs. I would very much like to see a sequel, preferable much longer.

Hector; Badge of Carnage - Completed
Hector: Badge of Carnage is proof that Telltale Games knows a bit or two about mischief and that Northern Island is home to talented foul-mouthed joke smiths. Unfortunately, the combination of these two forces does not necessarily result in a brilliant adventure game.
The game has hilarious moments well worth a look for any British humour or classic adventure fan however.

Hard Reset - Completed
A rather mediocre game that seems to be given more leniency than usual simply because it's a PC exclusive unfortunately. There isn't a lot to see here, really. It definitely harkens back to FPS shooters of yester-year, but not completely.
Its gameplay is as simple and repetitive as the old shooters, but the level design is the same as modern in the mostly linear and scripted way. Essentially, the worst of both worlds. I have never enjoyed the running and gunning type games anyway.

Hammerwatch - Completed
I have played a ton of games recently, and rarely do I find one that can capture me the way Hammerwatch did. Indie games are an interesting breed. Most of them are a waste of time but every now and then you get something special. This is definitely on par with the FTL's and Supermeat Boy's.
I am not sure why this one inst as popular but don't miss it.
