Be warned, however, if you're one of those weirdos who demands up to date modern graphics, you'll be sorely disappointed. While I consider Avernum 6 to be more than beautiful, it is, graphically speaking, certainly no Crysis and as far as I'm concerned, that's a GOOD thing!
With a now very well established lore returning fans will no doubt be delighted to see returning characters from previous games making more than just appearances. Players new to the series shouldn't fret, however, for each Avernum game has always been a self-contained story.
A seriously epic series of games that only the hardcore RPGer can actually pull through.
